COURSE DESCRIPTION
Water is a human needs and industrial raw material. Any methods and technology to treat water that most effective and economics. There are challenges in the future for water treating as complexity of water characterization especially in quality and quantity of water. The challenges such as environment regulation, health and safety regulation, and etc.
Generally, clean water processing and treatment was started from intake to water processing unit (oxidation, coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, chlorination, etc). Clean water for community consumption or industrial uses, needs some treatment such as adjusting pH, Aeration, Coagulation, Flocculation, sedimentation, Reverse Osmosis, etc. Basic Water Treating is important to treat water for reaching some regulations such as environmental regulation, safety and health regulation, and etc.
