INTRODUCTION:

The waste procedure is responsible for contamination arising from waste, and there is specific legislation relating to environmental management and waste management, and hazardous waste management. Waste disposal is potentially a major source of legal liability, particularly in Indonesia where there is strict liability for environmental damage resulting from pollution.

A waste management plan should form an integral part of all stages of operation, and shall be included in each operating departments environmental risk assessment. A full range of options for the production, control, treatment, management and disposal of all wastes shall be considered. It is the purpose of this course to provide participants with techniques of industrial waste control management, how to implement it and to evaluate their own system.
