This class will give you the opportunity to learn more about the analog and digital controls in association with the rotating equipment control system and its components. .

OBJECTIVES

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Demonstrate a strong foundation on Governor and AVR control theorypertaining to the controller.
  • Demonstrate an understanding sensor, transducer, controller and the actuator.
  • Demonstrate analog and digital control system, calibration the controls and adjust actuators, linkage and accessories.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of electrical power management control system,
  • Demonstrate an understanding of theory and methods of generator control system.
