This class is intended for those who would benefit from a deeper understanding of the more quantitative, model building and probabilistic economic evaluation aspects of decidion analysis. Using a case study approach, participant work through deterministics analysis and appraisal phases of DA. Participant will learn to use the DA Software, SDA, to construct and gain insights from tornado plots, decision trees and S-Curves, as well as to apply evaluation techniques such as sensitivity to probability and value of information. Incremental economics principles and processes also are demonstrated and applied. Student culminate the case study by preparing a powerpoint presentation to answer 20+ management question to guide the DRB in the decision. Participants also develop, from start to finish, a simpler excel-SDA model to evaluate a decicion involving the value of imperfection information.
