The purpose of the training :
- Acquiring the knowledge needed to define and implement an adequate program of oil analyses to monitor the condition of transformers.
- Understanding and interpreting oil analysis reports and implementing maintenance recommendations.

The training starts with a theoretical session addressing various aspects of transformer condition assessment:
- The importance of perform transformeroil analyses
- The main oil and paper degradation mechanisms
- Analyses apply to different types of transformers
- The importance of perform different kind of analyses at different frequency
- The best frequency for conducting the analyses
- How to interpret test results: trending, comparison with international standards, etc.
- How to use the analysis results to create and implement a maintenance action plan
